My littlest sister is reading the copy of Alice Pung’s autobiography, Unpolished Gem, that I gave her - before the Hunger Games trilogy that she actually asked for. She’s loving it.
My other little sister is reading The Magic of Reality by Richard Dawkins.
I found out yesterday that my contact in China can’t buy train tickets for me, so my brother and I will be flying all over China instead. This is a blessing in disguise - it means I can go to Chengdu and hold a baby panda instead of going to Pingyao.
Christmas Part 1 has been a success.
