Even though I can pinpoint the exact moment when I realised that maybe sexism was still a thing.
Even though that moment was when I saw the massive double standard applied to female versus male newsreaders (I wrote about that moment here).
Even though the first thoughts of feminism that trickled into my mind were trigged by articles about studies showing that the best possible career move I could make as I got older was to buy new boobs and inject my face with various chemicals.
Even though this is possibly the most visible example of sexism in our society.
I still can’t believe that this happens.
